We are sad to report the death of our Quiz League founder, ex- schoolteacher Mr. Jeff North of Litchard, Bridgend. 

Jeff started our league in Bridgend in 1973 and was delighted by its ongoing success.

Although blighted in later years by sight and health issues, he maintained a deep interest in the league and was proud to be guest of honour at our 2023 50th anniversary celebrations, attended by Sean Wallace, the “Dark Destroyer” of “The Chase”. 

Jeff will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Jeff’s funeral will be held at Coychurch Crematorium Bridgend (CF35 6AB) on Tuesday June 17th at 11.am.
