A Thank You from the League
The Bridgend & District Quiz League has been fortunate over the years to receive the time, enthusiasm and support of many people. The league could not continue without those who give their time to organise competitions, prepare questions, host matches and events, preserve its history and support teams throughout each season.
This page is our opportunity to recognise that contribution and to say a sincere thank you.

Our thanks go to everyone who has served the league, past and present, and who has given their time to keep it running for the benefit of all our teams and players.

We are equally grateful to the clubs and venues that welcome league teams, and to everyone who supports our quizzes, presentation evenings and special events.

We will use this section to recognise individuals and organisations who have made a special contribution to the Bridgend & District Quiz League.
Owen Sendell & Tim Sendell
Our sincere thanks go to the late Owen Sendell, a dear friend who generously offered to host the League’s website free of charge in appreciation of the memory of Alan Rudge and his many years of service to the Bridgend & District Quiz League.
Following Owen’s sad passing, his husband, Tim Sendell, has continued Owen’s generosity by hosting the website for the League without charge.
The Committee and members of the Bridgend & District Quiz League offer their sincere thanks to Owen for his kindness and friendship, and to Tim for continuing that generous support. It is deeply appreciated and helps preserve both the League’s history and Owen’s thoughtful gesture in Alan’s memory.
