We are sad to report the death of our Quiz League founder, ex- schoolteacher Mr. Jeff North of Litchard, Bridgend. <\/div>\n
Jeff started our league in Bridgend in 1973 and was delighted by its ongoing success.<\/div>\n
Although blighted in later years by sight and health issues, he maintained a deep interest in the league and was proud to be guest of honour at our 2023 50th anniversary celebrations, attended by Sean Wallace, the “Dark Destroyer” of “The Chase”. <\/div>\n
Jeff will be sorely missed by all who knew him.<\/div>\n
Jeff’s funeral will be held at Coychurch Crematorium Bridgend (CF35 6AB) on Tuesday June 17th at 11.am<\/a>.<\/p>\n
